Use and Care

Before filling, verify both ear handles are secure and the hexagonal infuser sits level. Lift using both ear handles only when safe to do so and support the cup body during inspection or cleaning. Do not twist the ceramic infuser against the cup rim. Wash and dry the cup, infuser, and lid before first use. Inspect the rim, body, handle joins, foot, infuser edge and openings, lid flange, knob, and glaze before every use. Do not use any component with a chip, crack, sharp edge, loose handle, deformation, or spreading glaze damage. Place the cup on a stable surface before adding the infuser or hot water. Hot liquid, ceramic, metal, and lids may burn; leave headspace, lift the lid away from the face, allow drainage over the cup, and use suitable heat protection when removing the infuser. Avoid direct flame, stovetops, heating elements, and sudden temperature changes.
